I got this TV for my Daughters room a month ago. Once I recieved it, I opened it, powered it up and scanned the channels. Once done, I adjusted the volume and color to her taste and that is it. This is a simple TV that does the job without paying alot out of your pocket. I like the design of this TV, it's very simple and yet elegant. If you want a nice TV you wont go wrong with this one.

 "Be careful" 2010-02-16
By Susie (Tulsa, OK, US)
I purchased this product and it has been a nightmare. We received the TV a week after release, plugged it in, and hooked up the cable. We got a beautiful white screen. We tried the remote that came with it and still nothing. The next day my husband called the customer service number and the lady (who did not speak English well) told him the TV had to be turned on for 3 hours for it to charge. The TV would only stay on for about 2 hours at a time and then it turned itself off. After about 6 hours of this we gave up and called customer service again. They were helpful and said they would contact a service company in my area and the service company should contact me within 3 days. The service company did not call and I had to call Viore customer service to find out who was assigned to fix the TV. As of this time the TV has been in the shop for 3 weeks and it doesn't look like I will be getting it repaired or even looked at before the warrenty runs out. If you are an electronically challenged person, do not even think about buying a Viore TV.

"Good Picture for a low price" 2010-01-23
By R. Goltsch (West Caldwell, NJ USA)
I picked this TV up this morning at my local bait and switch shop. It wasn't on fifth or seventh avenues....if you live in the NYC area, you know who I am referring to. They had it for a bit less than you see on here, but to be honest, I was looking to get it today.

The salesman there mentioned that a lot of people are having issues with this TV and cable boxes. I guess Viore is new to the scene and not a lot of cable box universal remotes work with the Viore TV's. The salesman was gracious enough to show me another, higher priced TV that he knew would work with local cable boxes. I hate when they do that. And that is why I am writing this review.

I got this TV to work with my TiVo using the Samsung remote codes. How did I know to do this? I did some searching on this TV before I headed to the stores. I saw a few people write online that this TV uses a lot of Samsung parts. I have no idea if Viore is a division of Samsung, or some kind of partner, but if they use similar parts, maybe they use the same remote codes. On my TiVo, it had one code for Viore, which did not work. However, there had to be a dozen codes for Samsung. The third one I tried worked, I think it was 0092.

If I got it to work with the TiVo using Samsung codes, I would bet it can work with other companies boxes too.

Now, about the TV. It has a nice, bright picture. This is not one of those super thin (2" or less thick TV's). It is about 3" thick. It is also really lightweight, maybe 10-15 pounds. I have it sitting on top of my TiVo in my bedroom. The picture is good. I have a Sharp Aquos and Sony Bravia in the house to compare it to, so maybe I am being harsh saying it is just good. For a bedroom, it is going to be great. I have read elsewhere that a lot of the cheaper LCD TV's have tinny sound quality. I would bet that this is part from the TV's getting so thin. The small TV's cannot generate good bass cheaply in a small cabinet. This TV sounds pretty good. I turned the bass and treble up to about 75% for each and it sounds good. It is not tinny at all.

This TV has one HDMI, component, and a 15 pin VGA port to use it as a monitor. The manual is really sparse. This is a value priced TV, so I didn't expect much in terms of documentation.

Overall, I think this is going to be a nice TV for my bedroom. Would I buy it for my living room? No. But as a small TV to catch Conan before I head to sleep, it will be just fine.

 "Unbelievable Picture!" 2010-02-22
By C. Tingler (Charlotte, NC)
I have had this TV hanging on the wall for a little over a week now. I was blown away when I turned it on to see what a great picture this has. The first night I fired it up, was the night of the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, and this television did not disappoint.

I had been trying to find a good price on a Panasonic G10, since I also own a 42" Panasonic plasma, and have loved it. This Samsung blows my other TV away. I have not made a single adjustment to the picture, and dont think I will have to. The landscapes of British Columbia come through with great clarity, so much that my wife and I are thinking about going there for a vacation in the future!

Also, I read reviews about the TV buzzing. I will say that I can hear the buzzing when close up to the TV, or if the sound is muted, I can faintly hear it from my couch. The speakers I have running the sound through completely drown it out though, and I have no issue there. You are going to have a little buzzing with any plasma, just the way they operate. I guess one would have to weigh how sensitive their ears are, and how much they can focus on one little thing. Again, I cant even hear the buzzing during normal viewing, and I have tried.

Also, the price that I found on Amazon beat anything else I could find online, from a reputable website, by about $300. I ordered it on a Monday, received it on a Friday (with free shipping) and was watching it that night. Great product. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a great TV.

I recently spent twice the money for a Sony lcd television and was not happy with it. I returned it and purchased this plasma. I had a Daewoo plasma for many years and thought why not another plasma? Plasma is half the money of a good lcd and the picture is even better.

 "Awesome TV" 2010-02-19
By Hud
I couldn't be happier with this TV! I also considered the Panasonic G Series but for my taste the colors looked much more realistic on the Samsung plus it was cheaper and the base swivels! I researched a lot of information online between LCD and plasma and am very glad I chose plasma. To me it looks like what TV is supposed to, (more CRT like) instead of the somewhat "fake" appearance with LCDs. When I was shopping locally I found retailers really like to push LCDs...probably b/c they cost more and they can get more on 1 truck b/c of the weight, but for people who take the time to investigate the differences, plasma is more often the winner.

The main differences are well known and can be summed up fairly simply; cost(plasma wins), motion(plasma wins), weight(LCD wins), color(plasma wins), screen reflection(LCD wins)...energy consumption(LCD wins), but if you're really concerned about being Green you should be outside or doing some Green activity and not inside watching TV. There is some noticable reflection during the daytime, but I have South facing windows hitting the TV and it's nothing that prevents me from watching television. There is an anti-glare coating on this model and you have to look for the reflection in order to be distracted. If you do a majority of your TV watching at night like I do, then I would consider it a non-issue.

I have no buzz as others have mentioned. I did notice in the owners guide Samsung directly addresses this and provides options to reduce buzzing should it be an issue. Burn-in is a non-issue. If a logo stays on the screen for a while you'll see a shadow if you walk up and look at the screen sideways, but a couple mins on a different channel and it's gone. CRT's had this issue when they were new too, but it would seem the new plasmas have solved it just as the CRT sets they replaced did.

Overall a great set. I certainly do not miss my 25" rounded CRT tube!

 "Excellent buy so far" 2010-02-19
By Dickey Mo (Harrisburg, PA)
Only 2 days in, but I wanted to let all people worried about the buzzing sound it is not an issue if you get a good TV. I have no problems with that at all. I'm still inside my first 100 hours, but burn in is not a problem. So far this would be a five star rating if it wasn't for the power consumption. The one bad review item I can't confirm is the 1080/24 mode issue, but I've read this was already addressed in newer revisions.

The settings menu is easy to navigate. This does not have a red accent to the bezel as some websites state. The screen does reflect light in my window filled room, but I imagine when I can finally turn up the brightness etc it will only be noticeable during dark pictures playback. This reflection was the only reason I was considering the LN750 models, but I read it is equally reflective (and more expensive). At night there obviously is no issue.

There is one issue which bothers me as I compare it to my old Aquios. My old TV would save screen size by channel and this Samsung does not. For example I could set all HD channels to 'dot to dot' picture and non HD channels to 'side stretch'. For the Samsung it's all channels to one format, so I find myself switching the picture size depending on what I'm watching. Probably in the future I'll keep the Samsung to 16:9 format, but during the first 100 hrs I want to keep the picture full screen to prevent unneeded burn in issues (although so far even when I do have black bars from being a lazy potato they do not create any real issue).

I've played a few XBOX 360 COD MW2 matches the first day and the picture is fantastic, no burn in noticed. But I also play hardcore, so the static stat bars are not as many...

I'm a little disappointed the online availability is only allowed with Samsung's proprietary hardware. While I have not tried it yet I can imagine having the sole key to this puzzle will only end up as bad news. No competition means they can only go at their own pace for improvements, and I'm sure at an added cost. But speculation on my part...

Overall, I'm loving this TV. I'm glad I let my buddy talk me into a plasma. I expect this thing to provide many years of quality entertainment. I should also mention my basis of comparison was a 32" LCD (the Aquios I mentioned), so I might be a little star struck on how a picture this big can look so good. Also I know down the road I'll be convinced the 650 will be worth the extra $100-$200 over the 550 because of the extras, notably when I finally break down and get a PS3 or a stand alone Blu-ray for the 1080/24 option and the ability to access whatever online content becomes available.

For the record, official model of the TV I got was PN50B650S1F. Not sure exactly what the S1F suffix means other than the revision I got, but it may affect my experience so far.

PS: I forgot about the sound. Better than my Aquios, but at 50" I expect most folks have a stereo or something hooked in. On it's own it does well for factory speakers. Louder for sure and I was surprised to find a built in EQ in the settings. While I've read the output will not do 5.1/6.1, I'm not concerned because I watch most TV w/o my outdated Pioneer receiver (I live in a shared wall house). I always fear my Bose shelf speakers will bring the police. Unlike the Aquios the louder I make the TV volume, it actually get louder.

 "So far so good..." 2010-02-18
By J. Miller (State College, PA)
Brightness- If you are worried about brightness then worry no more this unit is as bright as you would possibly want it.

Buzzing Sound- I was a little worried about this one, but upon listening to the unit after a 3 hour movie the buzz was only noticeable if i put my ear up to it. Only way i can hear it is on Mute, yeah not gonna happen.

Glare- I don't have this set near any windows so i don't know about natural light, when i have all the lights on in my room, yeah you can see some glare, enough to bother me...no. but when I'm really watching TV the lights are either off or almost all off so not bothersome.

Picture Quality- looks great, not going to get into it like many of the other reviews but its beautiful.

For the price, the picture quality and just the overall look of the unit i would definitely recommend. Thank you amazon and Samsung.

This TV has awesome color and brightness. It has all the inputs you need and a hidden usb port that can be turned on (disabled by default). The 1080p resolution is perfect, and the size is perfect for any bedroom, small living room, or play room. The stand is elegant and the setup is pretty simple, but you can do some cool custom stuff if you need that.

Excellent TV. Paid $379.99 for a 32" 1080P LCD TV on Amazon's deal of the day, that's less than it would cost for a 720P. I went to price this TV at Best Buy. It was on sale ther for $549.99, normally $599.99. Setup was very easy and the picture is terrific. Good sound. I would recommend this TV very highly.

Other than that, very happy.

"Excellent HD for the price" 2010-02-19
By Stephen Haberman (Trumbull, CT)
I bought this television about 4 months ago at about the same price. There really is not many televisions that can compare at this price range. The television has 3 hdmi inputs as well as several others for aux and hd 5-6 prong cables.

The picture is crisp, it will suffer from the quick action blur during some sporting events (i saw it a little in football) but at this price, its is a minimal issue. Before this tv, i owned a Samsung 1080i HD-tube tv and the difference is clear. If you want to have the crisp darks and grey scale, Samsung might be for you, but this picture performs best with colorful scenes. You can see a clear difference in color quality when watching baseball. Colors are just crisper on this LG. I am an avid gmaer and blu-ray watcher. The only qualm i have is the sound quality isn't anything special. With a blu-ray in the ps3, and using my hdmi cords, i have never had an issue with the sound. It is just watching cable or a regular dvd when i find myself turning the tv up substantially. The sound will be strong enough to give you a jolt during the action scenes tho. So, as i said, it isn't a major concern for me.

Unless you are looking at lcd or higher end names, this is a great tv for just about anyone.

Did everything i wanted. I don't know what all the problems with hooking this up with the ps3 was all about. I bought Hdmi High Definition Multimedia Interface 6 Foot Cable for Playstation 3 Ps3 and it all worked out great. Blu Ray movies show up clear, games are smooth and general tv, well, i don't have the hdmi box, so it's in standard def. There are also power saver options and this thing that allows you to customize your tv for games, movies etc...Great Buy.

By J. Sequeira (Costa Rica)
This is only my first LCD screen, wow, what a difference from a regular TV, the screen is much brighter than anything I've ever seen and the viewing angle is awesome. Toshiba seems to have ironed out the problem with bass, treble, or more generally, in large quantities, at least in my experience. The speakers are exactly what I expect from a quality and I have no negative aspects of all. They play well at all levels and quantity. Last but not least, I had no idea what makes a big difference between 1080p. It's really very, very cool and almost the quality of plasma. Also as part of this is probably due to technological advances of the last years in the production of Toshiba. I have this TV for $ 389.99 with free shipping. Really can not be beat. The 1080p is worth extra $ 50 - $ 70, will certainly pay for itself. Bottom Line: great pictures, great action, cosmetics, great sound, great price.

We bought this TV and it broke down about 14 months later, just after the warranty was up. And to fix it would've cost almost as much as the TV itself. The people at Samsung were very unhelpful and occasionally rude as we pleaded our case. An internet search brought up hundreds of cases just like ours where internal problems break Samsung TVs but it's not anything the average person can repair safely. Yet, Samsung refuses to recall their defective products. Seriously, don't even touch any Samsung TVs!

I purchased a 32" LCD Samsung a few weeks ago, and am I happy that I did. I rate the video as clear study and bright; not as bright as my 55" LCD Samsung, which is a 1080p vs 720p, but this is a super TV for my 16'X20' bedroom. This TV allows one to change the size of the picture in addition to the many other features. The volume is quite adequate, it allows one to set a time to automatically turn off. Its light weight weight and can be mounted on the wall or table...Finally, the price is fair, ranging from about $350 to $400 dollars.

I purchased my set from Amazon!

I just got this TV yesterday and set it up last night. Set up was a breeze, and the set is definitely light enough for one person to move. I'm a small lady and had no problem lifting it up above my head onto a shelf. I was leary about getting 720p, but the picture is perfect. I won't be using this as a PC monitor or for gaming, so I believe the 720p is perfectly adequate. So far, on day one, I'm very pleased with this purchase!

This TV was to replace a 10 year old bulky Fisher TV. I ordered it on Feb 12th and it was delivered to my door the next day. And this was with Free Shipping!!!.

I have Cable TV, but have not yet subscribed to any HD channels. Since my cable company charges extra for HD access, I don't plan to subscribe to HD access. But I primarily got the HDTV so that I can play bluray disks. But after hooking up the B360, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clear the picture was. It is actually better than my old Fisher TV.

So if you have to replace an old TV set, and don't have a subscription for HD access, or just need a spare TV for the bedroom or guest room, this is an inexpensive option. You won't be disappointed.

"Great value with a good picture." 2010-02-19
By Lee Millar (Las Vegas, Nevada)
To be honest, I wanted to stay away from some of the cheaper brand LCD TV's when looking for a TV for the bedroom and when I saw this Panasonic 26 inch, I knew it had all the features I was looking for at a great price plus I had a spare IPOD classic lying around for the docking feature. The picture is good on both HD channels and SD channels. Smaller screens like the 26 inch can get away with picture quality issues that can affect the larger ones, so no complaints there. The IPOD functionality is excellent and overall it's a good bargain for a Panasonic TV. Downsides that have been mentioned before is the initial base installation ( Magnetic Philips screwdriver is a must ) and the audio speakers could be better, but I've yet to find an LCD TV that'll knock your socks off without a soundbar or home theatre setup. If it's used in the bedroom, the overall sound quality shouldn't be an issue, so I'd recommend this Panasonic LCD TV without reservation.

 "Perfect TV" 2010-02-19
By George P. Homschek
absolutely one of the best tv's I have ever purchased and esp. at the amazon price of $289.99.Picture is a 10 the only concern is that the sound is a little small sounding however, I guess this is why it is so small.Would recommend for others to buy.

The Tv is good for the bedroom. The speakers could have a better quality sound. It's a very good product.

"This TV is great so far" 2010-02-18
By B Ry (Columbus, OH USA)
This TV is great so far. The black levels are a little weak, but you have to expect that with a 720. The set-up was more than a breeze! It looks good, my larger TV in the family room is slim, so this looks a little bulky. But it's the perfect size for my bedroom. It also picks up over the air HD which was very pleasantly surprising!

Over all, I would recommend this product. If you really want a great picture, you will have to spend a bit more, but you definitely can't beat this TV for the price (I got it on sale through amazon).

Shipped very quick! Just a great TV! Easy setup, beautiful picture. I don't have an Ipod, but maybe some day I'll have one, but the memory card reader is just a Gob send!
